Electrical Cleaning

As electrical equipment such as distribution boards and motors are in constant use, their maintenance and cleaning can often be neglected. However, if not properly and regularly cleaned, they can become clogged with product build up, leading to problems such as inefficiency and fire risk.

Dry Ice Cleaning provides a safe, dry, moisture-free, delicate solution for cleaning electrical components. It provides a superior quality clean, and requires little downtime to do so.

Surface Preparation

Dry Ice Blasting is ideal for surface preparation prior to NDT of weld lines, boiler tubes and any pressured pipe work, etc, as well as preparing ceilings or equipment before painting or recoating. Dry Ice Blasting cleans to a superior standard at a faster speed compared to alternative methods.
Dry Ice Blasting is effective in removing contaminants including rust, grease and oil, as well as cleaning the surface to a superior standard, ready for touch up.

With Surface Preparation, it may often be unnecessary to remove all the paint and coatings from the surface. As Dry Ice Blasting is non-abrasive, it only removes paint and coatings where the bond is broken (chipped or flaking). In this case, it will remove the coating and clean the surface. Dry Ice Blasting will not remove coatings of a good quality, but will clean them to a high standard.

This greatly reduces the scope of work compared to alternative surface preparation methods (grit, sand, bead, glass blasting etc), which remove all surface coatings even if it is unnecessary. This increases both scope and costs.

Dry Ice Blasting also does not produce any secondary waste, therefore reducing scope, time and costs further.
